In World War II, the Jewish People were faced with a murderous enemy who had risen to annihilate them. It was Nazi Germany, together with its “Axis” partners, Italy and Japan. A third of the Jewish People - six million lives – was murdered. Hitler did not achieve his goal and was defeated by the “Allies”. About a million and a half Jews fought within the ranks of the “Allied Forces”, in all Arms and Branches, in all Theatres of Battle, on all levels of command. In addition to them fought thousands of more Jews, in various Underground Organizations and within the ranks of the Partisans. About a quarter of a million Jewish Soldiers fell in battle with the enemy.

Our Brothers, the Warriors of Glory, share an important and decisive part in the victory over those who rise to destroy us.

Our best regards to the veterans of World War II, partisans, underground fighters, and their families, celebrating 68 years of the victory over Nazi Germany
