About
In World War II the Jewish People were faced with an enemy whose goal was to annihilate the Jewish People. This enemy was Hitler and Nazi Germany. A third of its sons – six million were murdered. But Hitler did not achieve his goal; he was defeated by the armies of the Allied Forces, headed by England, the U.S.S.R and the U.S.A. About a million and a half Jewish soldiers fought within the ranks of all the Allied Forces’ armies, in all corps and branches, on all fronts and on all levels of command, from Privates to Generals. In addition to those fought thousands more Jews, in all the anti-Nazi underground organizations and within the ranks of the Partisans inside Nazi-German occupied Europe. About a quarter of a million Jewish soldiers fell in battle with the Nazi enemy. Our brothers, the warriors of glory, share an important and decisive part in the victory over those who rise to destroy us.
