TO: ZVIKA KANTOR 14th January, 2013
Dear Zvika
OUR VISIT TO LATRUN
Yesterday’s visit to the Armored Corps complex at Latrun with Bob Magnus and Meredith Loveman was not only highly enjoyable but also an absolute education. As we toured the complex I was fascinated by the insights and information imparted by yourself and Bob. Both Bob and Meredith so enjoyed the visit
Concerning the Museum of the Jewish Soldier in World War II, I want to express my deep admiration for what you have achieved so far. This project is of major significance for the entire Jewish world and will fill every Jewish heart with pride
I am delighted to make a donation of NS100,000 in honour of my family and Bob and Meredith. The funds will be transferred on 17th January by bank transfer to the Museum’s bank account in Ramat Gan
I will be happy to offer whatever modest help I can in regard to fund-raising for this outstanding project
Warmest regards and every best wish
Sincerely
Smoky Simon
