Sergeant David Epstein (14 October 1889 Dublin, Ireland - 6 April 1942, Salisbury, Rhodesia) was the son of Isaac Epstein (1846-1925) and Anne Dora Epstein (nee Davis) (1856-1927) of Benoni, South Africa.He and his family lived in Bulawayo where he was a shop owner. During World War Two, he served with the Rhodesian Forces. He was based at the Internment Camp, Rhodesia Forces, Salisbury (Harare). Whilst on active service he died of uraemia.
