Johann Hans Ackermann (27 October 1892 Berlin, Germany - 23 February 1983 Cape Town, South Africa) Union Defence Force, was the son of Georg Ackermann (1863-1927) and Frida Ackermann born Ehrenberg (1861-1936) of Berlin, Germany.He was educated in Germany and came to South Africa in 1936.He served in the Civilian Protection Services during World War Two.He married Else Friederike Schleyer (1901-1989) on the 3 March 1925 in Berlin.
