Holman Isaac Gerber (5 October 1911 Pretoria, South Africa - 24 September 1989 Johannesburg, South Africa) was the son of Samuel Gerber (1878-1936) and Ida Gerber born Jacobson (1884-1963). He was educated at Technical School, Pretoria and in Cape Town. He married Scheina Gitel Ber on the 15 November 1939 and they had two children. He was the Managing Director of Gerbers (Pty) Ltd in Bulawayo, Rhodesia.During World War Two he served with the 2nd Battalion Rhodesia Regiment from 1939 to 1945 part time.Sources: 1.
