Gabriel Haimovitz

Gabriel Haimovitz (6 February 1927 Bulawayo, Zimbabwe - 2021 Israel) was the son of Max Haimovitz (1898- 1968) and Pesa (Peppy) Haimovitz born Haim. He was educated at Milton School, Bulawayo. He married Freda Weg (1936-2021) on the 16th March 1954 and they had three children. The family lived in Salisbury (Harare), Zimbabwe. He was Secretary of Central Africa. Zionist Organisation, Salisbury. He emigrated to Israel in May 1977.

During World War Two, he served with the Rhodesian Forces from 1945 to 1946.
