Sargeant Jerry Moss (No' 4224417, Indian Army I.A.A.F)When the war started Jerry was enrolled in a British regiment and trained as a wireless operator. Early 1941 he was sent to India where he was assigned to the Indian Army. He served in an I.A.A.F signals base near Delhi in the 7th Indian Mobile Workshop Company.For the later part of the war he was assigned to the Chindits fighting in Burma. He returned brifly on leave in 1942 when he was married on Xmas Day. Soon after he was sent out to India again and returned finally in 1947.
