Nikola Rosenberg ( 6 October 1918 Budapest, Hungary - 7 January 2001 Cape Town, South Africa ), known as Nik, was the son of Rudolf Rosenberg (1884-1944) and Ethel Rosenberg born Rosenberg (1891-1944). He was educated in Yugoslavia, Vienna, Edinburgh and East of Scotland College of Agriculture. He came to South Africa in 1942.During World War Two he served with the Royal Yugoslav Air Force.Both his parents died in Auschwitz Concentration Camp, Poland. He married Sylvia Fletcher (1925-2018() in 1947 and they had one son. He was a dairyman. The family lived in Bloemfontein and then moved to Cape Town.Sources: 1. South African Jewry 1967-68 Edition.
