Edith Isaacman nee Kaplan (19 January 1918 Uniondale, South Africa - 7 March 1988 Johannesburg) known as Edie, was the daughter of Morris Kaplan (1886-1963) and Leah Kaplan born Cohen (1891-1975). She married Leslie Isaacson (1914-1958) on the 4 November 1945 in Aliwal North. He was a salesman and she was a musician. Both served in the Union Defence Force.She served in the South African Women's Auxiliary Services.
